THE MOVEMENT
The Movement is a project of artistic creation of collective and citizen authorship. A movement that generates new folklore: contemporary social dances to identify with. We want to generate new folklore with diverse communities and groups. We want to get the dance of a neighborhood, the dance of a neighboring community, the dance of the town hall, the dance of a dance festival, the dance of a sports center, a school or a market and collectively think how we can preserve it, transmit it and take care of it as the intangible heritage of the city and its citizens. We want to generate inclusive dances. We propose a space for research, thought and creation with citizens to invent new folkloric forms that represent each community involved; put the body into the social.
